Liga Sorocabana de Basquete (CBB) signed 31-year old guard Gustavo Scaglia (193cm-1993, college: Arizona W. CC). It is actually his comeback to Sorocabana as he has played here before. Scaglia played this summer at Praia in the CBB. In two games just recently he had 11.0ppg, 7.0rpg, 6.5apg and 1.0spg.
He was a member of Brazilian U18 National Team in 2010.
Scaglia has played previously for six other teams: Palmeiras, Paschoalotto/Bauru, Pinheiros, Araraquara, Osasco and Brasilia. His team made it to the CBC League Semifinals in 2021 and 2022.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian CBB League Honorable Mention in 2023.
He attended Arizona Western College until 2012 and it will be his 14th (hopefully lucky) (!!!) season as a professional player.
