Liga Sorocabana de Basquete (CBB) strengthened their roster with addition of 23-year old guard Raffael Mencarini (187cm-2001). Mencarini played this summer at Praia. In 9 CBB games just recently he was league's third best scorer with impressive 15.7ppg and had 3.7rpg, 1.7apg and 1.8spg (in top 3). He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week and voted to Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian CBB Second Team. Mencarini also played for Praia that season. He contributed to his team ending the regular season as at the second position in the league. Good season as he was also here named League Player of the Week and selected to Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian CBB Second Team.
Mencarini has played previously for five other teams: Palmeiras, Paulistano, Esperia, Cravinhos and Campo Mourao.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian LDB U20 Honorable Mention back in 2021.
