Flamengo signs Jordan Williams, ex Broncos

Clube de Regatas do Flamengo (NBB) signed 31-year old American swingman Jordan Williams (196cm-93kg-1992, college: N.Texas) for upcoming 2024-25 season. Williams played this summer at Broncos in Venezuelan SPB league. He managed to play in four leagues in three countries last year (!!!). In 27 SPB games just recently he had very impressive stats: 18.6ppg, 3.8rpg, 2.1apg and 1.4spg. Williams was also named League Player of the Week. He also played for Program for Autism in U.S. semi-pro league TBT. But in only one game he did not score anything.
Williams is quite experienced player. He has played in nine different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Williams has played previously professionally in Argentina (Platense), Canada (Honey Badgers), Dominican Republic (Gregorio Urbano Gilbert, Metros, La Mattica, Titanes and Huellas), Mexico (Frayles de Guasave, Mineros, Plateros and Gigantes), Philippines (Terrafirma Dyip), Saudi Arabia (Ittihad), United Kingdom (Cheshire Phoenix), Uruguay (Hebraica) and The Basketball Tournament (Bleed Green). His team made it to the Basketball Champions League Americas Semifinals in 2024.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-PBA Governor's Cup Honorable Mention in 2023.
He graduated from University of North Texas in 2015 and it will be his tenth season as a professional player.
