Pato adds Wrighten to their roster, ex Espanol O.

Austin Wrighten

Pato Basquete (NBB) added to their roster 27-year old American swingman Austin Wrighten (192cm-86kg-1996, college: Lynchburg) for new 2024-25 season. Wrighten joins another USA player Nate Barnes who is already in the roster.
He played last season at CD Espanol Osorno in Chilean LNB league. In 20 games he recorded very impressive stats: 17.5ppg, 2.8rpg, 3.1apg and 1.5spg. He helped them to make it to the Chilean Liga Nacional final. Quite impressive season as he was voted Latinbasket.com All-Chilean LNB Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year and Guard of the Year. He also played for Galitos-Aveiro in Portuguese Proliga where in 8 games he averaged remarkable 24.1ppg, 5.4rpg, 4.0apg and 3.0spg.
Wrighten is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in four different countries. He tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America and of course North America. Wrighten has played previously professionally in Estonia (Tallinn Kalev and Kadrina), Malta (Mellieha), Mexico (Mineros) and Nicaragua (Jaguares).
He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.
Wrighten graduated from University of Lynchburg in 2019 and it will be his sixth season as a professional player.
