Esporte Clube Pinheiros Sao Paolo (NBB) signed 32-year old Brazilian international point guard Raul Neto (185cm-82kg-1992) for upcoming 2024-25 season. He played last season at Fenerbahce in Turkish BSL league.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at the Cavaliers in NBA where in 49 games he had 3.2ppg and 1.6apg in that year.
In 2013 he was drafted by Atlanta Hawks (NBA) in second round (47th overall).
He has been also a member of the Brazilian international program for some years. Neto has regularly played for the Brazilian senior team since 2009 and previously for the Under 19 National Team back in 2011.
He also represented Brazil at the FIBA Olympic Games in Paris (France) this year. During this event he scored an average of 4 points per game and had 1.5 rebounds per game.
Neto is quite experienced player. He has played in five different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Neto has played previously in Spain (UCAM), Turkey, NBA (Utah Jazz, Philadelphia 76ers and Washington Wizards), NBA G League (SLC Stars) and Brazil (Minas).
