There were just five rounds played in Regular Season of NBB and we can clearly see which teams will fight for top positions and which will try to avoid bottom places. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Sao Paulo as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Sao Paulo defeated 10th ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru at home 78-68. Sao Paulo made 25-of-31 free shots (80.6 percent) during the game, while Bauru only scored eight points from the stripe. 24 personal fouls committed by Bauru helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international point guard Henrique Coelho (184-1993) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. American guard Cordero Bennett (184-1988) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Germerson Barbosa (204-1993) answered with 19 points and 6 rebounds for Bauru. Paschoalotto/Bauru's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Sao Paulo have a solid series of four victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Bauru at the other side dropped to the twelfth place with two games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams. Bauru will play next round against Paulistano trying to get back on the winning streak. Sao Paulo will try to continue on its current victory against fifteenth ranked Paulistano. It will be extra interesting game as Paulistano is their local rival from Sao Paulo.
Undefeated Flamengo (4-1) recorded its first loss in Rio de Janeiro. Hosts were defeated by ninth ranked Corinthians (3-2) 83-70. Corinthians' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Sao Paulo .
An interesting game for Pinheiros (3-2) which played road game in Rio de Janeiro against their close opponent Botafogo (2-2). Fourth ranked Pinheiros managed to get a 13-point victory 80-67.
