Gabriela Guimaraes, power forward from the Ituano Basquete, picked up the Player of the Year at the Liga de Basquete Feminino. She received multiple other awards, was named the Center of the Year and was voted to the First Team. With Guimaraes' excellent performance, the Ituano Basquete achieved the best record of the season in the league, finishing with an impressive 16 to 4 in the regular season. Guimaraes was previously named to Honorable Mention back in 2021, Center of the Year, and selected to the First Team back in 2022 and 2023 and Player of the Year last year. She was the Player of the Week honoree three times during the 24 campaign. Guimaraes led the LBF in points per game with over 20 and rebounds per game with over 10. She has totalled 17 games of 20 or more points on the year and recorded 30 or more points in 2 games. Guimaraes registered double-doubles in 24 games at the event. Her 35 points against Santo Andre were the most she scored in the 2024 season.
Ineidis Casanova, 36-year old Cuban point guard from the Campinas, was voted the Guard of the Year of Liga de Basquete Feminino. She was also chosen to the First Team. Casanova previously earned Honorable Mention back in 2022. She received Player of the Week award in the league. Casanova's court vision propelled her to the third spot in points per game an outstanding average of over 16. She also averaged almost 4 assists per game in the league. Casanova has totalled 15 games of 20 or more points on the year and had 30 or more points in 2 games. She recorded double-doubles in 2 games at the event. Casanova's 35 points against Ourinhos were the most she scored in the 2024 season.
Vanessa Goncalves, forward from the Santo Andre, was selected as the Forward of the Year at the Liga de Basquete Feminino. She was also named to the First Team. With Goncalves' excellent performance, the Santo Andre achieved the best record of the season in the league, finishing with an impressive 19 to 1 in the regular season. Goncalves' best performance made her team reach the finals but they unfortunately were defeated by the SESI 2 to 3. She previously added Honorable Mention back in 2021 and earned a spot in the Second Team last year. Goncalves was voted Player of the Week in the league. She logged almost 14 points and over 7 rebounds per game that season in the league. Goncalves has totalled 8 games of 20 or more points and registered double-doubles in 6 games on the year. Her 25 points against Ponta Grossa were the most she scored in the 2024 season.
Joice Rodrigues, 38-year old point guard from the Ituano Basquete, was voted to the First Team of Liga de Basquete Feminino. She was previously named to Honorable Mention back in 2022 and chosen to the First Team last year. Rodrigues notched almost 9 points per game over the season in the league. She led the LBF in assists per game with 8. Rodrigues recorded double-doubles in 6 games at the event. Her 20 points against Pro Esport Soracaba were the most she scored in the 2024 season. Among many awards she was selected as the Latinbasket All-Paulista League Honorable Mention in 2022.
The standout power forward Aline Moura was named to the First Team of the championship-winning SESI Araraquara Basquete. Her excellent performance assisted her team in beating the Sampaio 3 to 2 in the final series. Moura was previously honored as the Forward of the Year, and earned a spot in the First Team back in 2021 and 2023 and Second Team back in 2022. She averaged 11 points and over 6 rebounds per game in the league. Moura has totalled 7 games of 20 or more points and registered double-doubles in 12 games on the year. Her 28 points against Santo Andre were the most she scored in the 2024 season. Among many awards she was selected to the Latinbasket All-Brazilian LBF Player of the Year in 2023. She was also selected to the Latinbasket All-Brazilian LBF First Team between 2022 and 2023. Moura was selected to the Latinbasket All-Paulista Second Team in 2022. She was also selected as the Brazilian LBF All-Star Game in 2022.
