CBB Round 2 (Regular Season): Brusque keep a leadership position

There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in CBB. Coincidentally all hosts won their games. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Brusque defeated Joacaba at home 82-72. The best player for the winners was point guard Lucas Campos (190-1997) who scored 23 points and 5 assists. Samuel Santos (187-1999) chipped in 22 points. Guard Elias Oliveira (189-2001) produced 19 points for the guests. Joacaba's coach Renan Pazin rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Joacaba will play next round against strong Tatui trying to get back on the winning streak. Brusque will try to continue on its current victory against Tatui at home.
An exciting game was played in Blumenau. Blumenau faced Joacaba. Host Blumenau smashed guests from 93-67. Jose Carlos (200-1997) orchestrated the victory by scoring 30 points and 9 rebounds (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field). Gabriel De Oliveira contributed with 24 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Guard Elias Oliveira (189-2001) replied with 9 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for Joacaba. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Blumenau will play against Tatui at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Joacaba will play against Tatui to get more than just one victory in their record.

In the last two games of round 2 winless Santos lost to undefeated Tatui in a road game 75-83. Osasco beat Santos at home 72-68.

Forward Rafael Santos (200-1999) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Tatui's coach William Drudi used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Gabriel Soldi (202-2000) replied with 19 points and 7 rebounds and guard Cristhya Fernandes (188-2001) added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Santos. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Tatui will play against Joacaba in the next round. Santos will have a break next round.
