Round 5 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Sorocabana 2 (3-2). They were defeated by third ranked Osasco (4-1) 68-61 on Thursday night. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Guard Dalaqua Almentra (183-2000) stepped up and scored 22 points for the winners and point guard Jean Oliveira (177-2001) chipped in 15 points and 6 assists. Danilo Penteado (199-1999) responded with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
