CBB Round 3 (Regular Season): Tatui lose to Joacaba

Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game between Tatui (3-2) and Joacaba (1-2) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. Tatui was defeated by Joacaba in a tough game on the road 72-77. Joacaba forced 20 Tatui turnovers. 24 personal fouls committed by Tatui helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for guard Elias Oliveira (189-2001) who led his team to a victory with 8 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals. Power forward Maicon Waldemar (204-2000) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Guard Rafael Castellon (191-1985) answered with 32 points for Tatui. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Joacaba is looking forward to face Osasco (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Tatui will have a break next round.
An interesting game for Brusque (3-0) which hosted in Brusque Tatui (3-2). Brusque had an easy win 94-69. It was a great evening for point guard Wilson Carneiro (175-1994) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Lucas Campos helped adding 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was point guard Heitor Cardoso (185-1992) with 18 points, 5 assists and 5 steals. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Brusque will play against Osasco (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Tatui will have a break next round.

Joao Mamedes came up with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks for Blumenau in the defeat. Tatui will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Blumenau will play against Santos (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.




Brusque - Tatui 94-69

An interesting game for Brusque (3-0) which hosted in Brusque Tatui (3-2). Brusque had an easy win 94-69. Brusque players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. It was a great evening for point guard Wilson Carneiro (175-1994) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Lucas Campos (190-1997) helped adding 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was point guard Heitor Cardoso (185-1992) with 18 points, 5 assists and 5 steals and forward Leandro Moraes (197-1997) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. An interesting game for Tatui (3-2) which played road game in Blumenau against Blumenau (1-2). Tatui had an easy win 77-61. Tatui dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Blumenau's 26. They outrebounded Blumenau 43-31 including 34 on the defensive glass. Tatui looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for guard Leandro Moura (191-2001) who led the winners and scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Leandro Moraes (197-1997) accounted for 4 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. Joao Mamedes (201-1998) came up with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks and guard Alexei Patricio (193-1997) added 3 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for Blumenau in the defeat. Tatui will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Blumenau will play against Santos (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
