Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Cruzeiro as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Cruzeiro edged their close opponent Osasco at home 79-77. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The best player for the winners was point guard Cassiano Bueno (189-1997) who scored 18 points and 4 assists. American Dominique Coleman (200-1988, college: FMU) chipped in 19 points. Cruzeiro's coach Thiago Perez used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Anthony Harris (191-1997, college: Chicago St.) who recorded 22 points and 6 rebounds. Cruzeiro (5-1) have an impressive five-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Osasco 2 at the other side keeps the second place with two games lost. Osasco 2 will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Cruzeiro will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Sorocabana 2 at home.
Bottom-ranked Vitoria (0-5) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 74-58 loss to fifth ranked Minas (2-4) in Belo Horizonte. It was a good game for guard Fernando Fernandes (196-2005) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Antonio Ramos contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Center Gabriel Mendes (206-1996) replied with 8 points and 12 rebounds for Vitoria. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Minas maintains fifth position with 2-4 record. Vitoria at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. Minas will play against higher ranked Sorocabana 2 (#3) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Vitoria will play against Pinheiros 2 and hopes to get finally their first victory.
The game in Belo Horizonte supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Osasco (5-2) played at the court of 5th ranked Minas (2-4). Osasco smashed Minas 84-63 on Tuesday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Minas. Dalaqua Almentra scored 29 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners. The best for the losing side was Lucas Nakazawa with 12 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Osasco 2 maintains second position with 5-2 record having just one point less than leader Cruzeiro. Loser Minas keeps the fifth place with four games lost. Osasco 2 will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Minas will play against Sorocabana 2 (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
