Miller's 24 points and 7 rebounds give him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

33-year old American guard Malcolm Miller (201-G-1991) put on an amazing game in the last round for Sao Paulo FC and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 42.
He had the game-high 24 points adding seven rebounds and four assists for Sao Paulo in his team's victory, helping them to beat Brasilia (#4, 19-15) 88-79. Sao Paulo is placed at 13th position in Brazilian league. Sao Paulo is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 13-21 record. In the team's last game Miller had a remarkable seven three-pointers out of 11 attempts. He has many years of experience at Sao Paulo, through which he has constantly improved. Malcolm Miller averages this season 9.2ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Andrezao Barbosa de Abreu (213-C-2002) of Zopone/ Gali/ Unimed/Bauru Basket. He is a center in his first season at Bauru. Borges showcased his all-around game by recording 19 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. Despite Borges' great performance the Sao Jose lost 77-89 to the lower-ranked Pato (#14, 13-21). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Sao Jose needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 17 victories and 17 lost games. Borges has a great season in Brazil. After 29 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 3.8apg (2nd best).
