The former international power forward Gerson Santo (206-1991, college: Colorado St.) notched 18 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and American guard Adrian Delph (191-2000, college: App State) supported him with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Five UNIFACISA players scored in double figures. Even 21 points and 4 assists by American point guard David Sloan (183-1999, college: ETSU) did not help to save the game for Pinheiros. The former international guard Reynan Dos Santos (192-2004) added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the hosts. Pinheiros' coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
