Crespo's 25 points give him Hoops Agents CBB Player of the Week award

Shooting guard Edu Crespo (190-SG) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Basket Osasco and receives a Hoops Agents CBB Player of the Week award for round 9.
He had the game-high 25 points adding two rebounds and two assists for Osasco in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Tatui (7-3) 84-80. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Osasco is placed at 2nd position in Brazilian CBB. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Osasco will need more victories to improve their 7-3 record. Crespo just recently signed at Osasco, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Edu Crespo averages this season 7.3ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Jose Carlos (200-PF-1997) of Basquete Blumenau/APAB. He is a forward in his first season at Blumenau. In the last game Carlos recorded an impressive 21 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Blumenau lost that game 76-83 to slightly higher-ranked Osasco (#2, 7-3). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Blumenau still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. He was another key player of Basket Osasco, helping his team with a 83-76 win against #4 ranked Blumenau.
