Mogi das Cruzes Basquete (NBB) landed 30-year old 194cm guard Paulo Da Costa for new season. Da Costa played most recently at Sao Paulo FC. In 41 NBB games he averaged 9.0ppg and 6.2rpg last season.
The previous (2024) summer he played at Colonias in Paraguayan LNB where in 9 games he had very impressive stats: 16.6ppg, 5.9rpg and 1.2apg in 2024 year. He was also voted League Player of the Week.
Da Costa has played previously for four other Brazil teams: Brasilia, Fortaleza, Cerrado and Pato.
Among many awards his team was regular season runner-up in Paulista League in 2024. He received Latinbasket.com All-Liga Ouro Young Player of the Year award back in 2018.
