Dikembe Andre

Mogi das Cruzes Basquete (NBB) inked 25-year old former Brazilian international 206cm center Dikembe Andre for upcoming season. Andre played this summer at Toros Del Valle in Colombian LBP league. In 24 games just recently he recorded 13.0ppg, 10.4rpg and 1.9apg. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. They also advanced to the league semifinals. Great season indeed as he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Colombian LBP Apertura Honorable Mention. The last season he played at Luvix/Uniao Corinthians in Brazilian NBB where in 38 games he averaged 10.9ppg, 7.4rpg and 2.0apg. A very good season in his career as he was selected to Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian League Honorable Mention.
Andre was also a member of Brazilian international program for some years. He played for Brazilian Senior National Team back in 2020 and previously for U20 National Team in 2018.
Andre represented Brazil at the World University Games in Chengdu (China) two years ago. His team won Silver and his stats at that event were 6 games: 5.7ppg, 6.8rpg, FGP: 53.6%, FT: 36.4%.
He has played also professionally in Spain (Caceres), Brazil (Paschoalotto/Bauru, Pinheiros, Paulistano) and Dominican Republic (Soles). Andre was also voted to Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian LDB U20 Center of the Year back in 2019 and 2021.
He won Brazilian LDB U20 League championship title in 2021.
