Coop/Sao Jose Basketball (NBB) agreed terms with 33-year old American guard Malcolm Miller (201cm-90kg-1991, college: Southern) for upcoming 2025-26 season. Miller has played for the last three years at Sao Paulo FC. In 35 NBB games in Brazil he had 9.5ppg, 3.6rpg and 1.9apg last season. Good year as he was named League Player of the Week (2 times).
He is quite experienced player. Miller has played in seven different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Canada (Riptide and Rattlers), Hungary (Hubner Nyiregyhaza BS), Luxembourg (Soleuvre), Taiwan (Dreamers), Brazil (Corinthians and UNIFACISA), NBA G League (Maine Celtics) and The Basketball Tournament (Armored Athlete and LS Legends). His team made it to the Paulista League Semifinals in 2023 and 2024. Miller was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian League Honorable Mention in 2023 and 2024.
He graduated from Southern University in 2014 and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season as a professional player. Miller played also for South Plains College for 2 years.
