Flamengo keeps Fernandes for another season

Flamengo Rio de Janeiro U20 team (LDB U20) re-signed 22-year-old 200cm forward Emanuel Fernandes, who played there last season. He missed the previous season and took a one-year break from professional basketball.
Fernandes was a member of the Brazilian U16 National Team in 2019.
He has played previously for four other teams: Pinheiros, Blumenau, Ponta Grossa, and Pinheiros.
Fernandes was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian LDB U20 Honorable Mention in 2022. His team made it to the LDB U20 League Semifinals in 2024.
