Silva comes back to Assis Basket

Diego Silva

Assis Basket (Paulista) added experienced 35-year-old power forward Diego Silva (207cm-1990) to their roster. It is his comeback to Assis as he has played here before. He played this summer at Liga Sorocabana de Basquete in the Paulista. Paulista will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
He is quite an experienced player. Silva has played also in Chile (Temuco), Paraguay (1 de Mayo), Spain (Esparreguera), Uruguay (Ferro Carril Salto), and Brazil (Joinville, Paschoalotto/Bauru, Osasco, Paysandu, and Blumenau).
He won the Uruguay LSB championship title in 2022. He was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Chilean Liga Nacional Honorable Mention in 2023.
