Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game in Bauru supposed to be quite interesting. Pinheiros (2-2) played at the court of Paschoalotto/Bauru (2-1). Paschoalotto/Bauru smashed Pinheiros 90-67 on Wednesday. Bauru forced 21 Pinheiros turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Pinheiros helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was power forward Daniel Lima (206-2003) who scored 18 points and 9 rebounds. Center Andrezao Barbosa de Abreu (213-2002) chipped in 11 points and 10 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Caua De Souza (184-2005) who recorded 14 points and 5 assists. Paschoalotto/Bauru are looking forward to face Rio Claro (#8) on the road in the next round. Pinheiros will play against Mogi in Mogi das Cruzes and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Sao Jose. Local Sao Jose (3-1) outscored Sorocabana (1-3) 86-53. It was a good game for point guard Guilherme Lessa (179-1995) who led his team to a victory with 18 points. Douglas Silva contributed with 18 points for the winners. Danilo Penteado (199-1999) answered with 19 points for Sorocabana. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sao Jose will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Sorocabana will play at home against Paulistano (#3) to get more than just one victory in their record.

Other games of round 3 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
winless Mandic Basket was crushed by Pinheiros in Sao Paulo 92-63. Sesi/Franca smashed Mogi at home 80-59. Corinthians won against Osasco on the opponent's court 89-76. Paulistano managed to outperform Rio Claro in a home game 75-62.
The best stats of 3rd round was 6 points and 12 assists by Caue Freitas of Sao Jose.



Pinheiros - Mandic Basket 92-63

There was no surprise in Sao Paulo where Mandic Basket (0-4) was crushed by Pinheiros (2-2) 92-63. It was a good game for point guard Caua De Souza (184-2005) who led his team to a victory with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Felipe Gregate (188-2003) contributed with 10 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Pinheiros players scored in double figures. Center Pedro Leopoldino (206-1998) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds and Leonardo Jacon (199-1996, college: Southeastern) added 22 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Mandic Basket. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Pinheiros will play against Mogi (#7) in Mogi das Cruzes in the next round. Mandic Basket will play at home against Corinthians (#1) and hopes to get finally their first victory.

No shocking result in a game in Sao Paulo where Vivo/Franca (3-0) smashed Mogi (1-2) 80-59. Sesi/Franca made 27-of-32 charity shots (84.4 percent) during the game. Mogi was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for point guard Joao Machini (171-2004) who led his team to a victory with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international power forward Rafael Mineiro (208-1988) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Vivo/Franca players scored in double figures. Swingman Anderson Barbosa (192-2000) answered with 5 points and 11 rebounds and guard Iago Mendes (195-2003) added 13 points in the effort for Mogi. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Very expected game when Osasco (0-3) was defeated at home by Corinthians (3-0) 89-76. Corinthians players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. It was a good game for power forward Victao Camilo (203-1997) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 5 rebounds. The former international guard Caue Borges (186-1991) contributed with 15 points and 5 assists for the winners. Corinthians' coach Jece Leite allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Matheus Weber (194-2000) answered with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Dalaqua Almentra (183-2000) added 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Osasco. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Corinthians will play against Mandic Basket (#11) in Limeira in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Osasco will play at home against Sesi/Franca and hopes to get finally their first victory.

Rather predictable result in Sao Paulo where Paulistano (3-1) beat Rio Claro (1-2) 75-62. Paulistano dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Rio Claro's 30. It was a good game for forward Lucas Siewert (208-1997, college: Colorado) who led his team to a victory with 25 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Lucas Avanso (183-2007) contributed with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Power forward Matheus Bonfim (206-1999) answered with 10 points and 5 rebounds and guard Gemadinha Sacco (182-1997) added 11 points in the effort for Rio Claro. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Paulistano will play against Sorocabana (#9) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
