Caxias do Sul Basquete (NBB) signed 33-year-old 192cm guard Felipe Vezaro (college: TAMIU) for the upcoming season. He is a well-known player in Brazilian NBB, having most recently played at U.Corinthians. In 34 NBB games in Brazil last season, he averaged 3.7ppg and 1.7rpg. Prior to that, he played for Minas for two seasons (2022-24).
He has spent his entire career in Brazil playing for three other teams: Joinville, Paschoalotto/Bauru, and UNIFACISA.
Vezaro has won many awards during his career, including playing in the final of Liga Sudamericana in 2019. He was also voted the Latinbasket.com All-Liga Ouro Domestic Player of the Year in 2017.
He graduated from Texas A&M International University in 2013 and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball. Vezaro played also for Blinn College for 2 years.
