Fluminense FC Rio de Janeiro (Carioca) signed 27-year-old 190cm point guard Lucas Campos. He played this summer at Brusque Basquete/ADB in the CBB. In 13 games he recently played, he was the league's fourth-best scorer with an impressive 15.9ppg and recorded 4.9rpg, 3.7apg (top 5), and 1.4spg. Carioca will be definitely a better match, and he can see more playing time. He helped them end the regular season as the second-best team in the league. Campos can count that season as very successful as he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian CBB Second Team.
He has played previously for eight other teams: Joinville, Luvix/Uniao Corinthians, Paschoalotto/Bauru, Mandic Basket, Campo Mourao, Basquete Curitiba, Esporte Clube Guarani R.S. and Joacaba.
Among many awards, his team won the Brazilian CBB League Conferencia Chui Regular Season in 2023. Campos was selected to the Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian CBB League Honorable Mention in 2023.
