Tijuca Tenis Clube Rio de Janeiro (Carioca) signed 26-year-old 198cm forward Lucao Barbosa. It's his return to Tijuca TC, where he previously played. He spent the summer playing for Liga Sorocabana de Basquete in the Paulista. The move to Carioca will provide him with more playing time and a better match.
He has played previously for eight other teams: Botafogo, Brusque, Sao Jose, Vitoria, Cerrado, Sao Jose, Mesquita/LSB, and Cerrado.
His team finished as the runner-up in the regular season of the Brazilian LDB U20 League Group B in 2021.
