Clube de Regatas do Flamengo (NBB) signed 38-year-old center Guilherme Hubner for the upcoming season. He last played for UniFacisa, averaging 3.2ppg and 1.9rpg in 33 NBB games last season. During the previous summer of 2024, he played for Goes Montevideo in the Uruguayan league. Hubner is an experienced ex-international player standing at 210cm tall.
He has spent his entire career in Uruguay playing for five other teams: Vivo/Franca, Minas, Paulistano, Mandic Basket, and Sorocabana.
Among many awards, he played in the final of the Brazilian Super 8 in 2024. Hubner was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Liga Americas Honorable Mention back in 2019. It may be one of the last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Flamengo.
