Cruzeiro Esporte Clube Basquete (Liga Ouro) strengthened their roster with addition of experienced 37-year old Brazilian center Ralfi Ansaloni (209cm-110kg-1987). Ansaloni played this summer at Univ.Sucre in Bolivian Libobasquet. The last season he played at Sao Paulo in Brazilian NBB where in 41 games he recorded 6.6ppg and 3.3rpg.
He was a member of Brazilian University National Team back in 2011.
Ansaloni is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Argentina (Ciclista), Portugal (Povoa) and Brazil (Luvix/Uniao Corinthians, Minas, Botafogo, Pinheiros and Mackenzie) and Bolivia (Amistad and Pichincha). His team was regular season runner-up in Paulista League in 2016 and 2024.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Paulista League Honorable Mention back in 2016.
Ansaloni is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Cruzeiro.
