Nardi is back at Mandic Basket

Sao Leopoldo Mandic Basket (Paulista) agreed terms with experienced 37-year old ex-international shooting guard Betinho Nardi (195cm-95kg-1988). It is actually his comeback to Mandic Basket as he has played here before. He was the top scorer at Caxias do Sul Basquete in the NBB last season where in 33 games he had 14.1ppg, 4.9rpg, 3.7apg and 1.4spg. Paulista will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
He was also a member of the Brazilian international program for some years. Nardi played for Brazilian Senior National Team between 2009 and 2011 and previously for the Under 19 National Team in 2007.
He has also played in Greece (Panionios), Italy, and Brazil (Minas, Pinheiros, Paulistano, Sao Jose, and Rio Claro).
Among many awards his team won, Nardi was voted to Latinbasket.com Brazilian League All-Domestic Players Team back in 2017. He is close to retirement age as a player, and it's very possible he may end his playing career at Mandic Basket.
