Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Vivo/Franca (9-3) on the court of fourth ranked Sao Jose on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Sao Jose 84-69. Sao Jose made 16-of-16 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. Strangely Sesi/Franca outrebounded Sao Jose 37-25 including 26 on the defensive glass. The former international guard Adyel Borges (190-2002) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points, 5 assists and 6 steals. point guard Guilherme Lessa (179-1995) contributed with 15 points and 4 assists for the winners. The former international center Cristiano Felicio (210-1992, college: Oregon) answered with 16 points and 9 rebounds for Sesi/Franca. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sao Jose maintains fourth place with 7-5 record, which they share with Pinheiros and Paulistano. Sesi/Franca at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. Sao Jose is looking forward to face Bauru (#7) at home in the next round. Sesi/Franca will have a break next round.
Important game to mention about took place in Sao Paulo. Third ranked Corinthians (8-3) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 4th placed Sao Jose (7-5) 72-71 on Tuesday evening. It was a great evening for power forward Victao Camilo (203-1997) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Elio Corazza helped adding 10 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Corinthians' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The former international guard Adyel Borges (190-2002) responded with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Corinthians moved-up to second place. Sao Jose at the other side keeps the fourth position with five games lost. They share it with Pinheiros and Paulistano. Corinthians will play against Mogi (#3) in Mogi das Cruzes in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Sao Jose will play at home against Bauru and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Bauru will play against Sao Jose (#4) and hope to secure a win.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 11: bottom-ranked Mandic Basket was smashed by Paulistano on the road 95-63. Sorocabana lost to Pinheiros on its own court 50-60. Osasco unfortunately lost to Rio Claro in a road game 82-95. Bottom-ranked Mandic Basket recorded a loss to Rio Claro at home 85-89. Pinheiros defeated Osasco on the opponent's court 88-81. Bauru was beaten by Mogi in a home game 60-67. Sorocabana was destroyed by Paulistano on the road 101-71.
The most impressive performance of 11th round was 33 points (!!!) by Lucas Zibecchi of Sorocabana.




Paulistano - Mandic Basket 95-63

No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Paulistano (7-5) crushed bottom-ranked Mandic Basket (1-11) in Sao Paulo 95-63 on Monday. Paulistano forced 21 Mandic Basket turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for forward Lucas Siewert (208-1997, college: Colorado) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. American guard Kaleb Hunter (193-1998, college: UNCG) accounted for 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Leonardo Jacon (199-1996, college: Southeastern) came up with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Alex Rodrigues (206-1998, college: MSU-W.Plains) added 12 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Mandic Basket in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Paulistano moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Pinheiros and Sao Jose. Mandic Basket lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 11 games lost. Paulistano will meet at home Osasco (#10) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Mandic Basket will play against Sorocabana and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
