Fluminense adds Conceicao to their roster

Fluminense FC Rio de Janeiro (Carioca) added experienced 38-year-old forward Diego Conceicao (201cm-100kg-1987) to their roster. He played last season at Vasco da Gama in the NBB, where he recorded 4.8ppg and 2.0rpg in 25 games. Carioca will be a better match for him, and he can expect to see more playing time.
He has played previously in Brazil between Joinville, Flamengo, Tijuca TC, Botafogo and Paschoalotto/Bauru and Bolivia during Pichincha.
Among many awards, his team made it to the Interligas Cup final in 2024. Conceicao was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian League Honorable Mention in 2024. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Fluminense.
