Luvix/Uniao Corinthians (NBB) signed 31-year-old American 205cm power forward Devon Scott (college: Dayton) for the upcoming season. He was the best rebounder at Metal in the Mongolian MBL league last season, averaging an impressive 15.5ppg, 8.3rpg, and 2.3apg in 35 games. Scott helped Metal reach the Mongolian League final after finishing the regular season as the second-best team. He was voted to the Asia-Basket.com All-Mongolian League All-Imports Team, League Player of the Week, and Asia-Basket.com All-Mongolian League First Team. Scott also played for AS Ironi Ashkelon (Winner League) in the Israeli league.
He is a very experienced player. Scott has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to thirteen different countries on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia and of course North America). He has played professionally in Argentina (Hispano Americano de Rio Gallegos), Canada (Wellington), Chile (Puerto Montt), Israel (Ironi Nahariya and Hapoel Eilat), Italy (Torino), Mexico (Fuerza Regia), New Zealand (Rangers), Philippines (Beermen), South Korea (Daegu), Brazil (Flamengo and Minas), United Arab Emirates (Al Sharjah), Dominican Republic (Indios) and NABL (Ohio Bootleggers).
In addition to winning the NABL Midwest Division championship title in 2018, Scott was also selected as the Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie A2 Center of the Year in 2022.
He graduated from the University of Dayton in 2015 and it'll be his 11th season in pro basketball.
