Jaragua do Sul / AJAB (Catarinense) confirmed in their roster experienced 36-year-old forward Renato Scholz (197cm-1988). He has played there for the last two seasons. He missed the last two seasons and had a longer break from professional basketball.
Scholz has spent his entire career in Brazil playing for eight other teams: Joinville, Paschoalotto/Bauru, Sao Caetano, Osasco, Brusque, Sorocabana, AABI/CLINESP/Artur Nogueira, and Jacarei.
Scholz has achieved many awards during his career, including making it to the CBC League Semifinals in 2021. He was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Paulista League Honorable Mention in 2021. At his current age, Scholz is close to retirement as a player. It is likely that he will end his playing career at Jaragua do Sul / AJAB.
