Yohanner Sifontes claims Brazilian NBB Hoops Agents weekly honour

Venezuelan Yohanner Sifontes (192-G-1995) had a great game in the last round for UniFacisa Paraiba and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 9.
The 30-year old guard had the game-high 22 points adding nine rebounds and four assists for UniFacisa in his team's victory, helping them to beat Pato (#19, 2-8) 77-62. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Thanks to this victory UNIFACISA moved-up to the 12th position in Brazilian NBB. UniFacisa is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 4-4 record. In the team's last game Sifontes had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range. He turned to be UNIFACISA's top player in his first season with the team. The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Jamison Costa (198-SF-2000) of Cruzeiro Esporte Clube Basquete. Scott showcased his all-around game by recording 17 points, 15 rebounds (!!!) and 6 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Rio Claro, leading his team to a 99-77 easy win against the higher-ranked Cruzeiro (#14, 3-7). Rio Claro can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 2-7 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Scott has a very solid season. In 8 games in Brazil he scored 15.0ppg. He also has 7.0rpg and 3.3apg.
