Paulistano lands Venezuelan Edson Tovar, ex Trotamundos

Paulistano/Corpore Sao Paolo (NBB) tabbed experienced 21-year old Venezuelan Edson Tovar (180-PG-2004). Tovar recently played for Trotamundos de Carabobo in Venezuela's SPB, averaging 3.5 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game in 33 games.
He has played also professionally in Colombia (Cafeteros), Spain (CBA Gran Canaria 2nd team) and Venezuela (Toros). He played in the final of Venezuelan SPB in 2025.
Among many awards He was voted Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan SPB Rookie of the Year back in 2022.
