American point guard Nate Barnes (181-PG-1990, college: ABU) was the top scorer of the day in the world with the 31 points he had in the Brazilian league. His excellent performance made his team U.Corinthians beat the Vasco 85 to 78. On top of that he also recorded 5 assists and 3 rebounds that evening. Among many awards he won the Brazilian Liga Ouro championship title in 2019 and was selected to the Second Team in 2018 and 2019. Barnes was also selected as the Latinbasket All Brazilian League Honorable Mention back in 2020. He was selected as the Brazilian All Star Game in 2024.
