Center Andrezao Barbosa de Abreu (213-C-2002) had a very impressive game in the last round for Zopone/ Gali/ Unimed/Bauru Basket, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 20.
The 23-year old player was the main contributor (28 points, nine rebounds and two assists) to his team's victory, helping them to crush Rio Claro (#17, 4-14) with 16-point margin 84-68. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Paschoalotto/Bauru is placed at 10th position in Brazilian NBB. Bauru is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 9-9 record. Scott showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the last round. Despite Scott's great performance the Rio Claro lost 68-84 to the higher-ranked Bauru (#10, 9-9). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Rio Claro can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 4-14 record places them close to the bottom of the standings.Scott has individually a great season in Brazil. After 17 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 6.5rpg (5th best).
