Scott's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

31-year old American power forward Devon Scott (205-F/C-1994) put on an amazing game in the last round for Luvix/Uniao Corinthians and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 22.
He had a double-double of 29 points and 11 rebounds, while his team lost the game against Corinthians (#6, 13-6) 76-88. U.Corinthians is placed at 11th position in Brazilian league. U.Corinthians is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 10th lost game this season out of 19 games. In the team's last game Scott had a remarkable 53.8% from 2-point range. He turned to be U.Corinthians' top player in his first season with the team. University of Dayton graduate has very impressive stats this year. Scott is in league's top in points (8th best: 15.8ppg), rebounds (5th best: 7.7rpg) and averages solid 54.9% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Anthony Harris (191-G-1997) of Basket Osasco. He is American guard in his first season at Osasco. In the last game Harris recorded an impressive double-double of 25 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Osasco lost that game 73-92 to the higher-ranked Sao Jose (#7, 12-7). Osasco is still second from the bottom in the standings. 15 lost games are too many comparing to just four victories Osasco managed to get this year. Harris is a newcomer at Osasco and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.2ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 4.8rpg and 4.1apg.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Georginho de Paula (197-PG-1996) of Sesi/Franca Sao Paulo (#4). de Paula scored 21 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. He was a key player of Vivo/Franca, leading his team to a 82-74 win against the lower-ranked Rio Claro (#17, 4-15). Sesi/Franca is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 16-3 record is not that bad... de Paula has a great season in Brazil. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 8.1rpg (3rd best).
