Garcia's 26 points and 9 assists give him Player of the Week award

45-year old guard Alex Garcia (191-G-1980, agency: Interperformances) had a very impressive game in the last round for Zopone/ Gali/ Unimed/Bauru Basket and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 25.
He had the game-high 26 points adding nine assists for Bauru in his team's victory, helping them to beat Pinheiros (#3, 17-4) 101-94. Paschoalotto/Bauru maintains the 11th position in Brazilian league. Bauru is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 11-11 record. In the team's last game Garcia had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 8 attempts. He has many years of experience at Paschoalotto/Bauru, through which he has constantly improved. Garcia has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in assists (7th best: 5.4apg) and averages solid 57.6% FGP.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Devon Scott (205-F/C-1994) of Luvix/Uniao Corinthians (#12). Scott showcased his all-around game by recording 12 points, 15 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. He was a key player of U.Corinthians, leading his team to a 80-72 win against the lower-ranked Pato (#15, 5-16). U.Corinthians needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 10 victories and 10 lost games. Scott has a great season in Brazil. After 19 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 8.1rpg (3rd best).
