Garcia's 29 points and 8 assists give him Player of the Week award

45-year old guard Alex Garcia (191-G-1980, agency: Interperformances) had an amazing evening in the last round for Zopone/ Gali/ Unimed/Bauru Basket and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 31.
He had the game-high 29 points adding eight assists for Bauru in his team's victory, helping them to beat Minas (#4, 19-6) 105-90. Paschoalotto/Bauru is placed at 10th position in Brazilian league. Bauru is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 14-12 record. In the team's last game Garcia had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 8 attempts. He has many years of experience at Paschoalotto/Bauru, through which he has constantly improved. Garcia has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in assists (8th best: 5.5apg) and averages solid 57.6% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Bernardo Da Silva (206-F-2000) of Fortaleza B.C. Cearense. He is a forward in his first season at Cearense. He was a key player of Mogi, leading his team to a 88-76 win against the lower-ranked Cearense (#18, 5-21). Mogi needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 14 victories and 11 lost games. Hinkle has a very solid season. In 8 games in Brazil he scored 12.9ppg.
