Flamengo was defeated by Paschoalotto/Bauru in Rio de Janeiro 79-92. Bauru made 27-of-33 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. 26 personal fouls committed by Flamengo helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Paulistano moved-up to seventh place. Minas at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. Paulistano will play against UniFacisa (#12) in Paraiba in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Mogi maintains tenth place with 15-12 record. Sao Jose lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the eighth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Bauru. Mogi will meet at home league's second-placed Pinheiros in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sao Jose will play against Osasco (#19) and hope to secure a win.
There were no big surprises in other games of round 35: Rio Claro was beaten by Cruzeiro on the road 95-79. UniFacisa won against Pato on its own court 82-67. Sesi/Franca managed to outperform Vasco in Sao Paulo 85-80. Caxias do Sul managed to beat Osasco at home 83-66.
