Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

NBB top team - Pinheiros (26-5) had no problems winning another game on Thursday. This time they crushed fourteenth ranked Cruzeiro (11-19) in Sao Paulo 101-79. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Cruzeiro. Pinheiros made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Cruzeiro turnovers. American point guard David Sloan (183-1999, college: ETSU) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Caua De Souza (184-2005) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists during the contest. The former international forward Tulio Da Silva (203-1996, college: Missouri St.) responded with 20 points and 9 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Pinheiros have an impressive 26-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 26-5 record. Cruzeiro at the other side keeps the fourteenth place with 19 games lost. Pinheiros are looking forward to face Botafogo (#17) in Rio de Janeiro in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Cruzeiro will play at home against Caxias do Sul and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Sao Jose supposed to be also worth to mention about. Seventh ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru (19-13) played at the court of 8th ranked Sao Jose (18-13). Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Paschoalotto/Bauru have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position with 19-13 record. Sao Jose at the other side dropped to the ninth place with 13 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
