International Center Lucas Dias (207-C-1995) had an amazing evening in the last round for Sesi/Franca Sao Paulo, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 41.
The 30-year old player was the main contributor (25 points, nine rebounds and two assists) to his team's victory, helping them to outclass Cearense (#18, 6-28) with 45-point margin 116-71. Vivo/Franca maintains the 3rd position in Brazilian NBB. They are still close to the very top. Sesi/Franca would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 25-6 record. In the team's last game Dias had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 8 attempts. He has many years of experience at Vivo/Franca, through which he has constantly improved. Lucas Dias averages this season 14.3ppg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Stan Scott (193-G-1998) of Rio Claro Basquete. Scott had a very good evening with 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Bad luck as Rio Claro lost that game 77-83 to the higher-ranked Mogi (#10, 18-15). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Rio Claro keeps 15th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 10-23 record. Scott is a newcomer at Rio Claro, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was former international center Andrezao Barbosa de Abreu (213-C-2002) of Zopone/ Gali/ Unimed/Bauru Basket (#7). Barbosa de Abreu scored 25 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. He was a key player of Paschoalotto/Bauru, leading his team to a 96-84 win against the lower-ranked UniFacisa (#12, 16-16). Bauru needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 20 victories and 13 lost games. Barbosa de Abreu has a very solid season. In 33 games in Brazil he scored 18.1ppg. He also has 10.0rpg and a FGP of 55.9%.
