The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute surprises and upsets. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Sao Paulo: Paulistano (#7) and Corinthians (#6). Corinthians was defeated at home 80-84 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Corinthians. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Kaleb Hunter (193-1998, college: UNCG) who helped to win the game recording 21 points. Forward Lucas Siewert (208-1997, college: Colorado) contributed with 12 points for the winners. Paulistano's coach Demetrius Ferraciu used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The former international point guard Elio Corazza (195-1989, college: Miami Dade CC) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 assists for Corinthians. Paulistano maintains seventh position with 22-13 record. Corinthians at the other side keeps the sixth place with 11 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
NBB top team - Vivo/Franca (30-6) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventeenth ranked Pato (7-28) in Sao Paulo 100-64. International center Lucas Dias (207-1995) scored 23 points to lead the charge for the winners and Georginho de Paula chipped in 10 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. At the losing side forward Grigor Batista (205-2005) responded with 19 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Vivo/Franca have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Sesi/Franca maintains first position with 30-6 record. Pato lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth place with 28 games lost. Sesi/Franca will play against Rio Claro (#14) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Pato will play against Osasco and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Other games in round 46 were not that significant. U.Corinthians was beaten by UniFacisa on the road 79-68. Brasilia won against Sao Jose on its own court 90-78. Osasco unfortunately lost to Corinthians in Sao Paulo 96-111. Flamengo managed to beat Cruzeiro at home 90-84. Minas crushed Botafogo on the opponent's court 106-71. UniFacisa was beaten by Caxias do Sul in a home game 70-80.

UniFacisa - U.Corinthians 79-68

There was a small surprise when eleventh ranked UNIFACISA (18-18) beat their close opponent U.Corinthians (18-18) in Paraiba 79-68. Venezuelan guard Yohanner Sifontes (192-1995) scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Kendall Anthony (173-1993, college: Richmond) chipped in 19 points during the contest. UniFacisa maintains eleventh position with 18-18 record, which they share with defeated U.Corinthians. U.Corinthians lost third consecutive game. UniFacisa will play against higher ranked Minas (#3) in Belo Horizonte in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
