The former international point guard Elio Corazza (195-1989, college: Miami Dade CC) fired a double-double by scoring 20 points, 7 rebounds and 12 assists for the winners. American guard Elyjah Clark (191-1998, college: MSSU) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. American swingman Jordan Williams (196-1992, college: N.Texas) produced 24 points and 6 rebounds and Argentinian guard Juan Arengo (185-1996) added 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.

Paulistano was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. American point guard David Sloan (183-1999, college: ETSU) nailed 27 points and 8 assists for the winning side and naturalized Guinea-Bissau power forward Yan Djalo Barbosa (204-2001) accounted for 10 points and 11 rebounds. American guard Kaleb Hunter (193-1998, college: UNCG) came up with 27 points and 9 rebounds and Venezuelan point guard Edson Tovar (180-2004) added 11 points respectively for Paulistano in the defeat. Four Pinheiros and five Paulistano players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Five Mogi players scored in double figures. Mogi's coach Fernando Penna used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side the former international point guard Georginho de Paula (197-1996) responded with 35 points (!!!) and 4 assists (made all of his eight free throws) and international center Lucas Dias (207-1995) scored 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists.
