Corinthians made 27-of-33 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Minas was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Elyjah Clark (191-1998, college: MSSU) who led the winners and scored 27 points and 5 rebounds. Power forward Victao Camilo (203-1997) accounted for 24 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Five Corinthians players scored in double figures. Power forward Rafael Rachel (205-2000) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and American forward Erik McCree (202-1993, college: La Tech) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Minas in the defeat.

It was a great evening for center Agapy Samoel (205-2003) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). point guard Felipe Borges (188-2003) helped adding 11 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Pinheiros players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard Kaleb Hunter (193-1998, college: UNCG) with 18 points and 6 assists and forward Lucas Siewert (208-1997, college: Colorado) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
