NBB Round 3 of Semi-Finals. Pinheiros and Sesi/Franca record wins

Corinthians - Pinheiros 81-82

Pinheiros outrebounded Corinthians 43-25 including 29 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for point guard Caua De Souza (184-2005) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international Betinho Nardi (195-1988) helped adding 21 points. The best for the losing side was American guard Elyjah Clark (191-1998, college: MSSU) with 23 points and 5 rebounds (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) and power forward Victao Camilo (203-1997) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four Corinthians players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

Brasilia - Sesi/Franca 74-91

Vivo/Franca players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a quality performance for international center Lucas Dias (207-1995) who led the winners and scored 30 points and 7 rebounds. Argentinian point guard Juan Laterza (180-1997) accounted for 17 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. Rafael Paulichi (202-1998) came up with 19 points and 9 rebounds and Argentinian-Italian point guard Facundo Corvalan (190-1998) added 15 points and 10 assists respectively for Brasilia in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
