Pinheiros - Corinthians 88-76

The game was mostly controlled by Pinheiros. Corinthians was better in fourth quarter 25-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Corinthians 44-29 including 19 on the offensive glass. The winners were led by American point guard David Sloan (183-1999, college: ETSU) who scored that evening 16 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and the former international Betinho Nardi (195-1988) supported him with 18 points. Four Pinheiros players scored in double figures. Pinheiros' coach Gustavo Conti used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 12 points and 6 rebounds by American guard Elyjah Clark (191-1998, college: MSSU) did not help to save the game for Corinthians. Forward Kauan Raymundo (201-2005, college: NW Florida St.) added 16 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for lost side.

Sesi/Franca - Brasilia 69-71

The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 17-10. But Vivo/Franca won second period 20-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Brasilia made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Argentinian-Italian point guard Facundo Corvalan (190-1998) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 5 rebounds and international guard Kevin Crescenzi (192-1993, college: Dartmouth) who added 15 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side the former international power forward Rafael Mineiro (208-1988) responded with 17 points and 7 rebounds and the former international point guard Georginho de Paula (197-1996) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Four Sesi/Franca players scored in double figures.
