The standout point guard Georginho de Paula was honored as the Player of the Year of the championship-winning champion team Sesi/Franca Sao Paulo. He received multiple other awards, earned the Finals MVP, Domestic Player of the Year, Guard of the Year, and was named to the First Team and Domestic Players Team. With de Paula's excellent performance, the champion team Sesi/Franca Sao Paulo achieved the best record of the season in the league, finishing with an impressive 32 to 6 in the regular season. de Paula's excellent performance assisted his team in beating the Pinheiros 3 to 1 in the final series. He was the Player of the Week honoree 8 times during the 25 26 campaign. de Paula orchestrated his way to the third spot in rebounds per game, showcasing a dazzling average of over 8. He also averaged almost 17 points per game in the league. de Paula has totalled 14 games of 20 or more points on the year and recorded 30 or more points in 3 games. He registered double-doubles in 18 games at the event. de Paula's 35 points against the Mogi were the most he scored in the 25 26 season. The best players in the league are US college alumni. Just on the list of the top 10 best scorers we have 6 out of 10 players, who had college careers. David Sloan, American point guard from the runner-up team finalist team Esporte Clube Pinheiros Sao Paolo, picked up the Import Player of the Year at the Novo Basquete Brasil. He graduated from the ETSU four years ago. Sloan collected multiple other honors, earned a spot in the First Team and Imports Team. His best performance made his team reach the finals but they unfortunately lost against the Sesi/Franca 1 to 3. Sloan received Player of the Week award in the league. He had over 15 points and almost 6 assists per game that season in the league. Sloan has totalled 13 games of 20 or more points and recorded double-doubles in 3 games on the year. His 30 points against Sao Jose were the most he scored in the 25 26 season. Jeremy Hollowell, 32-year old American small forward from the Olimpia Kings, was named the Forward of the Year of Novo Basquete Brasil. He Is the Georgia State alumni from 2017. Hollowell received multiple other awards, was voted to the First Team and Imports Team. He was voted Player of the Week in the league. Hollowell logged over 16 points and almost 8 rebounds per game over the season in the league. He has totalled 12 games of 20 or more points and registered double-doubles in 14 games on the year. Hollowell's 35 points against Osasco were the most he scored in the 25 26 season. The best players in the league are US college alumni. Just on the list of the top 10 best scorers we have 6 out of 10 players, who had college careers. Hollowell's team won the Brazilian League Regular Season in 2025. He collected multiple other honors, was selected to the First Team and Domestic Players Team. Dias' excellent performance assisted his team in beating the Pinheiros 3 to 1 in the final series. He averaged over 15 points and 5 rebounds per game in the league. Dias has totalled 20 games of 20 or more points on the year and notched 30 or more points in 3 games. He recorded double-doubles in 5 games at the event. Dias' 31 points against the UniFacisa were the most he scored in the 25 26 season. Alex Negrete, 24-year old Argentinian forward from the Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, was chosen to the First Team at the Novo Basquete Brasil. He was also named to the Imports Team. Negrete registered almost 15 points and over 4 rebounds per game that season in the league. His 30 points against the Luvix/Uniao Corinthians were the most he scored in the 25 26 season. Among many awards he was selected to the Latinbasket All-Argentinian La Liga Under 23 Player of the Year in 2024. He was also selected to the Latinbasket All-Argentinian All-Domestic Players Team in 2025. Negrete was selected to the Latinbasket All-Argentinian La Liga Argentina Conferencia Sur Second Team back in 2022. He was also selected as the Latinbasket All-Argentinian League Honorable Mention in 2024.
