Coruna keeps Pacheco for another season

Leyma Basquet Coruna re-signed 27-year old Brazilian international Caio Pacheco for the upcoming season. He played there last season. In 36 Primera FEB games, he averaged 11.8ppg, 1.8rpg, and 4.5apg. He helped them win the Primera FEB title despite ending the regular season in second place. Pacheco was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish Primera FEB All-Imports Team, League Player of the Week, and Eurobasket.com All-Spanish Primera FEB Second Team. For the previous two seasons (2023-25), he played at Grupo Ureta Tizona Burgos.
Pacheco has been a member of the Brazilian international program for some years. He has played for the Brazilian senior team since 2020 and previously for the Under 21 National Team in 2018.
Pacheco also represented Brazil at the World University Games in Chengdu (China) three years ago. His team won Silver and he averaged almost 15 points per game.
He is a very experienced player. Pacheco has traveled between six different countries on three different continents during his pro career (Europe, Latin America, and North America). He has played previously in Argentina (Bahia and Weber Bahia), Italy (Pesaro), Poland (MKS), Spain (UCAM and Real Betis), Brazil (Palmeiras), and NBA G League (Capitanes de Ciudad de Mexico).
