Coach Jonathon Bim Alfred was understandably overjoyed at the win. At the beginning of the 4th quarter I realized we were down, so I called my players together and told them to focus on defense and what we had practiced all year round. I wasnt scared though I knew my guys knew what they were doing. It was a hard series, its my first year playing for the championship, but I knew all our hard work would pay off in the end.

For Another Level, Dione Blyden was top of the scoring charts with 22. He also recorded 5 assists and 3 steals. Terique Wattley added 11 points. Raheem Blyden scored 10 as did Alward Forbes.

In the senior final, MVP Kennedy Bass (196-F-81, college: Anderson) led the Legs to the first Championship in 4 years with a 77-61 win over East and a 3-1 series win.

Its been a long 4 years, we stuck together for those years and everybody had faith. The players, the fans, we all had faith we knew we would bring it home. Some of their big names didnt come up, but I didnt care who they bought or who didnt come up we were ready to play, Bass said.

The game was over almost before it started with the news that East would be without influential player Ray Victor. It was a loss that seemed to affect them tactically as Legs completely controlled the game from start to finish. A ten point first quarter lead was extended to 17 at half time with the scores 47-30 to Legs. The game was effectively put to bed in the 3rd quarter when any chance of an East comeback was snuffed out and the lead increased to 65-40.

Bass scored 12 points with 4 rebounds, 4 steals and 5 assists. Khalid Gerard notched 20; Kitwana Rhymer added 10 points and 9 rebounds, Jasin Edwin hit 12 points with 4 rebounds and Rennie Phipps picked up 6 rebounds with 3 assists.
