Barbados simply could not buy a bucket, taking 85 shots to only hit 17 of them compared to BVI hitting 22 of their 66 attempts which included 2-4 from downtown.
Barbados on the other hand, did not attempt a shot from beyond the arc in the game which showed their inability to hit shots at the rim as well.

Antigua and Barbuda, after a three-point loss to Barbados on Tuesday made amends by defeating the British Virgin Islands 29-23 on Wednesday when the Caribbean Basketball Confederation (CBC) female under-16 championship continued at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall in Georgetown, Guyana.
Despite a hot start by BVI that saw them ending the first quarter with a 14-2 lead, it was the defence of the Antiguan females that allowed them to go on a run of their own.
Antigua held BVI to a scoreless second quarter which happened to be the turning point of the game despite going into the halftime break still down by two points.
However, the momentum gained by their 11-0 run in the second quarter was enough for the Antiguans to take the lead in the third with which they never relinquished.
Britnay Gore dropped 11 points and 13 points for the Antiguans while Shauliqua Fahie scored 12 points and 11 rebounds for BVI in the loss.
