DAY 2
Guatemala leveled its record at 1, after a 98-35 win over the British Virgin Islands the Centrobasket U17 Women's Championship. Racking up 26 assists and taking full advantage of the opponents 52 turnovers, the team from Guatemala took over the game and never looked back. Every player from Guatemala added points to the scoreboard, as Gabriela Vallecillo led the scoring with 17 points.
DAY 1
El Salvador rolled to a powerful and dominating 101-54 win over the British Virgin Islands to kick-off Group A action. From the get-go, the Salvadorians took control of the scoreboard and the rhythm of the game with a 25-10 first quarter. El Salvador went-on to win all the quarters handedly, to celebrate the win. Alexis Rodriguez was the best for El Salvador, with 16 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, and 5 steals.
The top three teams from the Centrobasket U17 Women's Championship will qualify to the FIBA U18 Women's Americas Championship 2018.
On the last day of Group Phase, British Virgin Islands will take on Mexico at 12pm today and could be scene on youtube.
